    I need some advice i want to convert avi to real media but i dont know what to use to get this done, can anyone tell me whats a proper program for this task AVI TO RM

    First step is to figure out what codec was used in the AVI An AVI is an envelope that can contain any of many video encodes. Your question is similar to saying you got an envelope in the mail and you are asking us to guess the contents.

    If you can play it then real/helix producer should be able to read it since it takes input via dshow.
