I have this DVD with three directories: VIDEO_TS, JACKET_P and OpenDVD. The last one is created by the software Sonic Powered DVD.
The JACKET_P, as stated here and elsewhere, is a directory with 3 small MPEG2 videos to appear when you press PAUSE in the DVD player.
In this forum, there was an advice to burn the JACKET_P with Nero Burning ROM using the UDF/ISO format even though the app will send a warning message that the DVD will not comply with Video DVD formats.

Anyway, I burn it and it is not recognized by my computer or my DVD player. So there goes another coaster.
I have Nero Burning ROM 6 and the DVD verified ok. I burned at 2X to avoid speed incompatibilities and it read as Book Type as DVD-ROM.

The VIDEO_TS was ripped using DVD Decrypter and the other two directories were just mere copies. Any advice on how should I burn them? Or is it any special care that I should have with those directories?

First, STOP making coasters! Use RW or RAM media to test.

Next, if you're using Nero, for goodness sake use the DVD-Video template. That will improve your compatibility. You can still add other folders to the root of the disc using that template.

Backup a minute. Do you even know if your player supports Jacket Pictures?
If so, do a test burn (of the material in question)--without the JACKET_P folder and files, does it work? If not, you've got other worse problems.
If so, burn again with the JACKET_P and other extras.
BTW, how were the JACKET_P files created? Maybe that's why they don't work. Start with a known positive example.

I created my own JACKET_P that contains one of my logos. It plays just fine on my Sony DVD player that supports JACKET_P pictures. The only catch, is that I can only burn the VIDEO_TS and JACKET_P folders to the root for the JACKET_P picture to display correctly. If I add other folders, the video will still play fine, but not the JACKET_P pictures. All my disks are burned with Nero.

    Thanks for your answer.
I will use the DVD-Video template. I didn't use it before because there was a recomendation using UDF/ISO template but I think that was based on Nero Express and not Nero Burning ROM.
