I have tried to capture Divx using VirtualDub following the guide on these pages but it seems that the files is gonna take up a lot filesize (about three cd's or so for a movie) - so my question is, what are the correct settings in order to keep a 90-110 min. movie = 700mb or below?

    Thanks - apreciated!

  2. Try no higher than 1100 if size is 352x240.

  3. Did you follow the step of converting the audio after you did the capture?

If you are capturing CD quality audio and don't compress it using MP3 or some other audio compression it will take 1.5 CDs just to hold the audio.

Yes, I guess I've solved the problem now and I just encoded a movie with an almost exellent result. I used the new codec4 beta and remembered to encode the sound into mp3.
Thanks a lot for your help!
