  1. I convert Divx file with WinAvi convertor to DVD and then use neroRecode to burn it on the disk.
    One simple question when do I have to add the .srt file in the above process so that the outcome Dvd is with the subtitles.

    Try using DIKO, it allows you to add sub files in.srt format and the encoder is better in my opinion than winAVI. Oh, and it's free, it must be christmas!

  3. Sorry to say this, but with the process you describe there is no place where you can add subtitles to the DVD. (with this I mean selectable subtitles, permanent subtitles for DVD in my opinion is a misconcept, something completely wrong)
