I manage to get everything done the way this link told me to do so "http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/70/59/1/1/" but then when i burn the ISO file using the prog "CopyToDVD3" i got an error saying "Init error write fail" and another one saying "Cant reserve track for writing code 05 24 00 [ illegal request, invalidfield in CDB]. I also tried using tmpgenc DVD author to burn the iso but i still got and error. Can anyone help me pls.![]()

I use DVDDecrypter to burn ISO files. Never had any problems. If you still get those errors, maybe the file is corrupted.

Then this is a Xvid (Or Divx) converted to DVD? You are saying the output video from TMPGEnc plays OK?
This sounds like an issue with burning more than encoding. Maybe with the creation of the ISO.
You can mount the ISO with Daemon tools before you burn it and play it that way. If that works, then the burning process is suspect.
Sorry, not really enough information and too many variables.
That's a good process you are using, but fairly involved. If the video is playing alright through each step, you may be able to narrow it down a little. -
is there any way to check if the file is corrupted cuz i dont see anything wrong wit it but i cant seem to burn it
-
It depends. What form is the file you want to check in?
The original Xvid, the MPEG-2 from TMPGEnc encoder, the authored version, or the ISO? The answers range from Gspot, AVIcodec, VirtualDub, PowerDVD player, Daemon Tools, VLC Media Player, and probably a few more. -
ok so i tried using both dvd decrypter and alcohol 120 and it said something is wrong with the recording so what do i do from here
-
Try mount your iso image file to a virtual drive using Alcohol 120%.
If you are able to watch it fine, then you should have no problem burning it to a disc.
Anyway, what type of DVD burner and media you are using? -
If there is nothing wrong with the ISO image, then that leaves your burner or your DVD media. Try a different brand of DVD disc. I assume your burner is working properly.

i finally got it to work thanx guys. Its one of the process that i left off on the link "http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/70/59/1/1/"
