    Hi everybody,

    I just captured 45 minutes of my home video from my D8 camcorder on WinXP with Vegas Video 3 using FireWire. The size of captured AVI file is 10 GIGABYTES!!!!

  2. The 4GB limit only applies to computers using the FAT32 file system.

    kabanero FYI the 4GB AVI limit has alway been gone you need used the rigth OS it call WindowsNT3.51/4.0/2000 and XP all baes off the same NTFS code DOA.
    Only Windows98/98SE/ME can't handel over 4GB under 32bit fat disk DOA.

    Well, I was capturing before with Ulead MSP 6, and AVI limit was always 4GB because it is limit of MSP.
