Hi, I just received an old IBM Intellistation Pro computer from a refurbished computer lab at my university.
It seems it was set up as a net boot computer at first and I can't get into the BIOS to enable CD or floppy booting since there is a password required to make any changes to the system.
Is there any way to reset this?

Unplug the computer, pull the BIOS battery for about 5 minutes, that will clear the BIOS and should remove the password protection. You will loose your BIOS settings back to default, but otherwise it should work fine.
BTW, did you try the word 'password'? You'd be suprised how often that's used.
If not the battery removal should work.
