Stipping subs from avi file

it shouldnt be hard, but it is because the subs are switchable and vdub doesnt see them. to enable the subs i use directvobsub and i would like to remove them so that i can make them large, change the colour, and move them up to the tv safe area.

any help would be greatly appreciated

tried that already and it isnt listed there... i wish that it was though as my life would be easier

well now that that is out of the way, yes it worked well. nothing else could find them but this did. at any rate let me take this time to thank you for the site as i have used it since it was basically started (back when ripping a dvd to a vcd was common and more than one or two button clicks). all i can say is thanks alot and keep up the good work
