Nero Showtime...error...

Hi:
OK...I found Nero Showtime buried in Nero Start Smart. But every time I attempt to load a DVD, I get " Nero was unable to start playing the selected video. Close all other programs that may be trying to play video files". And yes, it's pointing to the correct drive. But I have nothing else running. Note I am trying to play commercial DVD's that will run under Media Player Classic and DVD Shrink. All of Nero's other software works (DVD creator, etc.), I just get that damn error message with the player. I'm running Windows ME on a P3/800, with 1 gig of RAM (I know, I know...hold the comments on my old PC!). Thank you!

My first thought would be to uninstall / reinstall Nero, then get all of the latest updates.
