I used DVDx to copy one section of an instructional video into VCD format, then I burned it to a CD and tried it on my Panasonic S27 DVD player and it worked fine. I then copied another section using the same program and the same kind of CD-R, but when I tried to play this one, the DVD player said it could not handle this kind of disk. I could see the player not being able to play any vcds, but why would it be able to play the first one and not the second? Any ideas?

My guess would be that you did not perform the same actions on the 2nd attempt or the disc is not closed.
