    Hi All (again!):
I currently am running Windows Media 7 on an ME install. If I upgrage to Windows Media 9 (ME will not allow me to install 10), will I be able to play DVD's? And if yes, but a codec is required, is there a place to get those codecs for free? On the Windows Media site they advertise DVD playback codecs (for Win Media 10), but they cost money, and I have the feeling only work for Win Media 10. Thanks!

You do have a DVD player in your PC correct? Did you get software with it, like Power DVD, Win DVD or NVDVD ? If you did load or reload that. If not do a goggle search. If all that fails, yes it's going to cost you a little.

Hi & thanks for the reply...
Yes...just got a new Sony DVD burner...it came with Nero 6, but for the life of me, I cannot find a DVD viewer. I can make DVD's & copies, etc, just not watch!
