Are there any tools out there that can emulate DVD menus and allow me to make certain selections unselectable? ie ... I get rid of a certain audio track... I'd like to then change the audio selection menu to make it where I can't select that option. In addition, if the track I removed was the default, change that too to make a different audio track the default. Same with stuff like extras.
If I'm not mistaken, IFOEdit would be able to do this, but I was hoping there was something that would be a little easier to navigate.
Thanks!

Hi-
MenuEdit can do most of what you want (make menu items unselectable) quite easily. PGCEdit can do the rest (actually, it can do it all), but a couple of things you want (like changing to a different default audio track) can be a bit tricky. One good thing about PGCEdit though, is that it saves your IFOs, so if you screw up you can replace them and start all over. You'll then probably want to use VobBlanker to actually get remove unwanted audio tracks and extras. There are a bunch of guides available for PGCEdit. -
Just tried out PgcEdit and love it... just removed a few buttons sucessfully...
And yes, I'm using VobBlanker v2.0.1.0 ... love it... never noticed you could remove audio using it tho ... can you? I've been using DVDShrink to simply remove FULL unwanted tracks.. does VobBlanker allow you to remove just certain audio from a full stream?
Thanks! -
Hi-
does VobBlanker allow you to remove just certain audio from a full stream?
Yes. I'm assuming you mean to ask if it can remove whole audio streams (aka audio tracks). After opening the DVD in VobBlanker, click on the VTS containing your movie, to make it show up in the lower screen. Highlight your movie and hit the "Strip" button. Then you'll see the audio streams listed. Just uncheck the ones you don't want to keep.
