    Hi All,
I have a folder with some ( roughly 100) videoclips of different format (.wmv, mpeg, .mov) inside and of different size ( from 1 to 30 MB) and would like to see them with my dvd player ( it reads also videocds). I wonder what is the best way to see them ( dvd? videocd?) and in which way should I create this support. For my DVDs I used a software to convert ( MPEG encoder) and then a program such as TMPGconv to edit and burn but now I don't know what to do.
Thanks a lot for your help/Fabio

Are they roughly similar in resolution, or are some large and some small ?
Are they all widescreen, all 4:3, or a mixture ?
What is the total runtime of them all combined ?

Some are large and some small. they are a mixture. I don't know the total runtime but I guess that it should be approximately 60-75 minutes ( 195 files 1,15 GB)
    Thanks

It depends on the source format. Perhaps if you use avisynth to load them, so mainconcept doesn't have to worry about translating them itself.

If quality is an issue then you should encode each seperately to get the best from it. This may mean that some are encoded at VCD resolution, but using mpeg2 at higher bitrates. It may mean that some are encoded at half-D1. Some will be full screen and some 16:9. Then author it all as seperate titles so you can get it all on one disk.

Or you could just use DivxtoDVD to do the whole lot in one go. Just select 4:3 as the frame size so everything fits.

Given the number of clips and the disparity between formats, resoltuion and aspect ratios, I can't see a simple way to do this nicely. I suspect you are in for a long session with an editing program. Put them all together, one after the other, on the same timeline. Put them on a black background, resize them as little as possible, and encode from the timeline if possible.
