  1. I've used WinAVI version 7 and 7.1. I've tried different xvid encoded videos and end up with the same result each time. Every time I go to burn the VOB's produced by WinAVI the result is garbage. It actually appears to play fine on my computer when I play it in my DVD player it's choppy and skips a lot. I've actually tried it in 3 players and it sux in all of them. The video is very skippy. The audio seems fine though. Anyone have any thoughts why this may be happening. I'm using Ritek media and burning at the slowest speed using nero 7.

    Thanks!

Nero 7 isn't available for purchase until October 10, is it ?

Maybe try another all-in-one like DivxToDVD (get the freeware version - no watermark ), or more here:

... or do it the manual way:
http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm , or any of the other guides in the Guides section under Convert (to your left).
    If in doubt, Google it.
