Is there a media player that lets you adjust the audio/video sync while its playing? Because I have a video that is synced half-way through, and then they go off a little bit.

    Thanks.

    make install.

If you are downloading a pre-compiled version, then there is no install. Just unpack. You can also edit the conf file to your liking, specifying default languages, audio/video filters, enabling the OSD menu, setting fullscreen, number of audio channels, set default DVD drive, etc.

Drop a media file on mplayer.exe and it will play.

I must be stupid, I can't unpack any of the pre-compiled ones. Their all weird files that I can't open.

Why did they make things so complicated?

Well all my compiles are compressed with 7-zip which is no more complicated than zip or rar, it just compresses better. Less complicated I would say than downloading a whole bunch of seperate files.

Download that and extract it into a directory on your hard drive. Then drag and drop your file onto the mplayer.exe file.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Thanks for the excellent tip Druid. I've been using the cmd line ! Drag and drop is much faster and easier.

[note from man_page on topic: Each click of + or - should adjust audio delay by +/- 0.1 seconds (one-tenth of a second).]
