Cannot create DirectDraw surface

Everytime i try to use BS player i get this:






a month ago it was working fine

I have windowsME

ANy Ideas about why this happeneing? It was fine a month ago, then i rember installing "something" to fix a AVI that wasnt playing right. now this happens everytime.

the video is in xvid format, it plays, but not well, on windows media player, it doesnt play on divx player either.
