I got Subtitle workshop to work with my avi file but now I need to know how to add the subtitles into Ulead Videostudio version 9.0 Last week I googled on this site and found a "how to" manual for Subtitle workshop that described how to make subtitles for home videos, which is what I am doing. I googled all day yesterday and could not find it again. I would appreciate any help you can offer, either by sending the URL or by giving me a nudge in the right direction.
Thanks!
BTW, I also have VCD easy if that would make it easier.

Thanks! But there is a level of complexity that I don't need and also confuses me a bit. I already am working with an avi file. I don't have to break it down into anything. Is there a guide out there that starts from AVI and ends in VCD? Is there one program that will take the subtitle file and add it to the avi file?

Well, this first link will show you all the guides for converting from avi to vcd:

However, I've chosen these two ones, I think will fit your needs:

So it seems that virtualdub is the program that actually stitches the movie and the subtitles together?
