I've got four VOBs I want to join together & author to DVD.
The first VOB is very short (6 seconds), and is a sort of introduction clip. The other three clips are musical performances, about 3-4 minutes each.
The problem I'm having is that when I join them all together in order with the introductory clip at the beginning, the second VOB is always trunicated. About 4-5 seconds of the beginning of the 2nd VOB is cut off.
After some fiddling I discovered that this always happens no matter which VOB I put after the introductory clip...whatever VOB is joined after the 6 second clip always gets chopped off.
I'm using VOBedit to join them together, but it also happens with other programs.
Any ideas what's causing this? Thanks

Never tried that, but this seems like good information: http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html

Thanks, that's interesting but doesn't address the problem I'm having. I'm following the proper procedure for joining the files, it's just that whatever VOB is placed after the first (6-second) VOB ends up getting trunicated at the beginning.

Break the Vob (S) down to the MPEG and sound (AC3?) formats and
rebuild them from scratch.
