Hi all....newbie here.
I am using ffmpegx to encode for DVD, but am not sure about the Mux process.
Should I Mux as Mpeg2, or DVD ? Seems like it would be the same thing.
I am still a bit vauge n teh Muxing process. I always thought it was taking separate audio and video files and making them into one. Anyone know where i can get a detailed explanation ?
thanks, as always...cheers.

You should mux as DVD, the muxing profile is absolutely not the same. Muxing does pack audio and video into one stream. You may think of it like a tube of toothpaste, with blue and white streams. The muxing obeys a very specific standard of data packetization, so as the relevant information can be found easily at playback time.
