Hi all,
I have an avi and the brightness and colour are 2 vivid. I was wondering what the best software was to correct this. I've had a play in TMPGEnc 2.5 But I fing it hard to get the right setting. Is there and plugins that will automatically correct my video.
Regards Jim

Maybe not automatically, but Virtualdub has filters for color correction to use with AVIs. You can download more versatile ones for VD also. I use 'red/green/blue adjustment (1.0)' and 'White Balance - V2.0 Beta 2' and the default 'HSV adjust' all the time.
You should check your video on a TV, if that's your final destination, before altering the color/brightness. It may look different than when just viewed on a computer monitor. -
Cheers I will give it a go.
Wheres the best place to find VD filters ?

For VD filters, http://neuron2.net/ or you can do a search for 'virtualdub filters' on Google and find a few more. There are a lot of them out there.
