    Hi People

    Downloaded a movie two cd's and they are avi files. They play fine on my puter in winamp,videolan or windows classic but cant encode them with TMPGEnc plus , Avic 4cc cant open them either.. vid inspector says I got all the right codec's ..... All I want to do is encode them so I can burn to a dvd that will play on dvd player.. Anyone got any idea's

    Try the solution that involves upping the priority of the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. Its not increasing the priority to 4 wil help. You must increase the priority till it reaches the top of the list.
    When I was born I was so shocked that I could'nt speak for 18 months.
