Just got my Pioneer 530. The noise is awful, it's problably from the HDD / fan or both. It's a mid-high frequent constant beep which drives you nuts after a while

Have anyone experienced this before with any Pioneer device?

I received one on a couple of weeks ago for Fathers Day and it runs like a dream. If you have a noisy unit, I suggest you take it to a service centre and have them check it out .... better to get this type of problem sorted out ASAP rather than later. If the fan happens to be the faulty culprit, you may cause more serious damage (over heating) if you continue to use it.
I talked a friend into buying the same unit and installed it earlier tonight for him, also no noise related problems.
