Simple Authoring?

I believe my needs are simple.
All I want to do is make a nice DVD from my home movies, but I'd also like to be able to make compilations up from bits of other DVD's (like taking all the music videos and putting them onto one disc).
Can you suggest anything that will do this well?

Tmpgenc dvd author or tmpgenc dvd author pro.
To add clips from other dvds select add dvd video, choose the video_ts folder on the dvd(rip it first with dvddecrypter if it is an encrypted dvd) and use the built in editor if you want to cut.

If you want an all-in-one tool, also video converting, try ulead dvd moviefactory or ulead dvd workshop.

Or run Any DVD in the background. Then you can extract the movies directly to MPG2 with TDA.
