I use it fine under windows but when I boot into linux I can't seem to use it. I connect it and then I run kudzu and it finds it and I configure it. Then I modprobe tuner bttv. Then /dev/video0 was not there so I MAKEDEV video and now it is there but when I 'xawtv' I get
This is xawtv-3.94, running on Linux/i686 (2.6.11-1.35_FC3)
can't open /dev/video0: No such device
v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway
v4l2: open /dev/video0: No such device
v4l2: open /dev/video0: No such device
v4l: open /dev/video0: No such device
no video grabber device available
$ la /dev/video0
crw------- 1 root root 81, 0 Sep 15 18:17 /dev/video0
Am I suppose to link /dev/usbx to /dev/video0? and what if I put it into a different port? Any help would be appreciated.
I am running FC3 on kernel 2.6
