I just purchased a CIS system: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6796568438&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1
which from visual inspection, looks similar to the Print On A Dime system. I'm probably not going to install the system until tomorrow, so in the meantime wanted to ask if anyone had any ideas on how to get rid of the air gaps that seem to be present in the tubing when I received the product. I've read over the other CIS threads, but am still a bit confused as to what I should be doing to correct the problem. I suppose I could just run purge tests until I get past the air gaps, and then proceed as normal, but I really don't want to waste that much ink, as the cartridges seem to be full as well. The manual booklet I've received isn't much help either, as it is probably the worst example of Engrish I've ever seen, and it covers 2 different types of systems as wellAnyhow, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them.
