Anyone looking for a portable video solution, I just got a toshiba notebook with 1g P3, 30g hd, 256mb, and dvd-cdrw, upgraded the memory to 512mb for $10 after rebate. Just did my first dvdrip with it, took about 6 hours from start to finish. Not bad for a portable. The whole system after rebate was $1,049.

BTW, the movie was 2 1/2 hours long, so again, the encoding time wasn't bad for a portable....*S*
