Hello everyone:
I got this problem: I already captured a video from my Digital Camera (DVC tapes) with Pinnacle Studio plus 9.3, but the image has a bad resolution, anyone knows how to get better the quality of the image of capture video? i supposed that i capture in mpeg - 2 DVD quality.
Tanks for your help![]()

How are you transferring/capturing the video? USB or Firewire? Firewire transfer to DV .avi will give you an exact replica of the digital data on your tape on your hard drive. Transfer by USB will give you pretty horrible, low quality webcam type images as it is only intended for stills transfer.

i am using the USB cable that only comes with the camera, no more cables are including on the camera, i got a firewire card capturing, but in the box only comes with the USB cable.

Manufacturers rarely supply a Firewire cable, they assume that most people will have no need for one and will just connect the camcorder to a TV. Go out and buy one.
