    I have read in the vcdhelp how to's that all I need to do to change the channel on virtualdub was to open my tv software turn it to the channel that I want close that software and everything should be okay, but it's not. Well I have tried this on ati MMC 7.5 TV and Ulead Video Studio 5 and Gemstar but the channel never changes on virtualdub.
    Anyone have any idea?

    Go to Video-->Source and click on the "TV Tuner" button. You should get a control screen that allows you to change the channel.
