    As far as playing burned DVD's. Which one would be better out of the two?

    JVC XV-N44SL or XV-N50BK?

    I have the N44. No problems playing my burned DVD's.

    the N50 is a newer model...most likely with only cosmetic changes. Also the N44SL is silver and the N50BK is black.
