I just used TMPEnc DVD authur once it's a great program.
But I cannot find the feature to put music (mp3, wav) to DVD menu.
Is there a way to do this like the program Memory On TV.

The DVD menu without music isn't cool enough for me.

And can I use movie clip as DVD menu background.
Some of Movie DVDs in my collection MI2, 007 etc, have such that good looking menu.
What program do they use for creating those DVDs in retail store.

    Thank you,

Create a video with your menu background and the music of your choice, then use that as the background.

    Spruce Maestro.

They only cost about $5,000 each, at minimum.

However, you can make very professional menus with some like DVD Studio Pro (Mac) or Ulead DVD Workshop 2 (PC).

Something like TDA is low-class newbieware, good for learning on, but nothing advanced. Although there are a lot of tricks to making nice menus on it, swapping images and using video clips as menu assets.

Dvdlab pro for pc allows you to add music as well as many other things TDA won't. The software has a free trial period and here is a guide for it: https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?link=602

yep. That's the only way to do it in TDA ATM. Use TMPGEnc or any other encoder to make a DVD-compliant MPEG with either a still image or some video of some description and your audio. Then specify the MPEG as your motion menu.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Try the trial release of Tsnuami DVD Author Pro (v2.0 of TMPGenc DVD Author)

This fully supports adding any music to any menu, and lots more

Its not officially released yet, but you can download a fully functional (apart from not being able to save projects)

    Full features :

I for one will be upgrading, its a pity though that it STILL doesn't support subtitles at all

If you need subtitles, go find other software, if you don't its a doddle to use

A bit snobnish don't you think? Well ... since TMPGEnc DVDAuthor is one of my video workhorse programs that I use quite often I guess I'm still a newbie ... hopefully I'm not a low-class one.

  9. I really think LordSmurf meant that the TMPGEnc DVD Author program is in the lower class of authoring software, not users of it. It's the only authoring software I have ever used so far and I've turned out some great projects, but I still agree with him. I look forward to getting into more advanced (higher class) software.
