Anybody have experience with the use of video editing processors (editing/mixing boards) to enhance color in the TBC'ed analog signal BEFORE digitization? The JVC JX SV55's and up do a good job with video mix and color alteration/enhancement. This may be a hardware fix prior to DV capture. Any takers?

There is a very long discussion here on the use of hardware processors in the chain. Perhaps it will cover your question.
