I would like to know if there are any tools that provide information of an audio, mainly whether it is 16Bit or 24Bit.

I have done a serach and looked at the tools section, ive tried many tools inlcuding MediaInfo, AVIcodec etc..

They determine the audio codec, smaple rates, bit rates but not whether it is 16bit or 24bit audio. I would just like to know this peice of information, mainly for AC3 audio.

    Thanks.

Tried Winamp, it shows the sample rate, bitrate and number of channels but not if its 16 bit or 24 bit audio.

If your asking for info on a wave file, Right click on the file in windows Explorer and choose properties. click on the summery tab and it will show you the sample size IE 16 or 24 bit. If you need info on MP3's, any wave editor can do that. Audacity is free and will provide the info you want.
