I lost some of my video files during an unsuccessful hard drive conversion to a file system. I restored these files through Easy Recovery Professional. But now they are not recongnized by any video player. I have been told that fixing these files is possible by Hex Editing. Can anyone suggest any ideas how I can start? The files are in avi format. Thank You!

What format are the files ? AVI ? MPG ?
Sometimes the operation is a success, but you lose the patient. -

I have restored few of these files, but cannot do it to large GB files. Anyone with experience, please help!
