I just installed the newest version of McAfee Personal Firewall Plus (7.0.152). Now my computer is running extremely slowly. When I check out the task manager it says MpfTray.exe is at 99% CPU. If I disable it(it being McAfee firewall) all is good and computer is running @ 6% CPU. I have tried unistalling then rebooting, and then reinstalling the firewall but it still uses 99%. Any ideas how to fix this. Anyone have this problem? I have tried McAfee help, but they have been unable to fix it for me yet?
Please don't reply sayin McAfee sucks, or use Norton. I don't care about your personal feelings toward the product. I'm just trying to fix the problem that I have with the product I have.....thanks.

After uninstalling McAfee go to start button click on RUN then type in regedit click ok.
Click on > HKEY_ LOCAL_ MACHINE> SOFTWARE...look for McAfee/ McAfee folder or any other files associated with it and delete it then reboot your pc.
Then reinstall it again.
