  1. I have two mvcd files that I need to convert over to VCD, SVCD, or heck just about any other usable format at this point. I found an old forum post that addressed this, but when I use tmpgenc to try to convert it as the post suggests, it comes up "short" - the actual length of the video is not what it should be. Any ideas? Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you!

Have you viewed the "short" file to see if there are any problems with it or what may be missing? There may not be any issue at all.

  3. mvcd are basically vcd's (modified). What is the reason to convert them to VCD (standart)?

  4. There are no problems with viewing it - all the footage is there (although wmp does give an erroneous timecode if you skip ahead). I am trying to convert them so that I can put multiple files onto a DVD rather than have them all on CD's, but still keep them viewable on a TV

  5. Then maybe it is not bad idea to try it as is (only resample the audio) on +-RW disc.

There is also a post or two around here on how to correct the timing marks.
