Will the buttons on the menu still work or are they just a part of the menu now, (unable to click next or play form the menu?)

Also, say I want to use shrink to edit the beginning and ending of a dvd to have it fit to dvd (which cuts out the original menus, and leaves just the movie files). Is it possible to add the menu back in it's shrunken form from Menushrink?

    Denvers,
I'm not sure I understand your first question... Do you mean, will the buttons work after you use menushrink? If that's the question, then yes of course!
As far as your second question, it's possible to add the menus, but it's a difficult and tedious task. There are guides for that, but I would not recommend it.
    You're better off:
    - Using vobblanker to cut the beginning and ending of the DVD (to save space)
    - Using vobblanker or menushrink to shrink your menus
    - Using DVD Shrink to do the final shrink, keeping the menus the way they are...

MenuShrink a free tool to shrink menus into stills with or without audio!
DVDSubEdit: a free tool to modify your subtitles directly inside the vob.

To readd orig menu to reauthored movie -- You might try TitleWriter 2.02 it force readds viable menu (original) about 95 to 97% of the time without all that command editing. If it fails Undo or tinker with the menu.
