    Hi,
    I want to know how to set my DVD-RW Drive Region free.It is currently set to Region 5 and i still have three more options to change the region but i could'nt find how to make it free.

    I have three DVD's that i can't able to access on my DVD-RW drive anymore.I previously became able to play them on it.Now these are not playing anymore.These are DVD-9s and are in A1 condition(No Scratchs etc) and playing well in my DVD player.I made couple of changes and would you think possibly the cause of this.

    1. I updated my computer to Pentium 4 HT.
    2. Previously when i played them my drive was region free and now it is set to Region 5.
    3. DVD Drive needs service.

    Note : The Drive is not even accesing the DVD so i can't Rip them etc.

    AnyDVD for region free (will cost around $ 40though)

    Or used a region hacked firmware from www.rpc1.org
