I seem to have an odd problem. I've been scanning search results for a couple of days without finding any solutions. I'm new at this so I've likely gotten something out of wack.

I have a video project that I'm working on. The source was my JVC video camera mini dv and was copied and imported into Vegas 5 with the default capture utility that comes with Vegas 5. I am at the point where I am rendering it to an AVI prior to doing the encoding into DVD format. I'm using the default settings for AVI render (I have not rendered the seperate AC3 file yet for the next stage)

The project has a varitey of tracks for video, titles, audio, sound effects, etc. My issue is on a Chromokey track. I'm using a sperate video and sound track with the motion tracking to "make big people smaller" and overlay them on the main video track. I all works fine in Vegas. Sound is syncd up fine. I prerender the section in question and it is fine. I render just the section in question and it is fine.

... but when I render the entire hour and thirty minute project, just the Chromokeyed track gets out of sync with the sound later in the project (I am viewing the AVI file in Media player 10 and Windvd with the same results). There are multiple events on the chromokey track and this track is heavily used in the first 10 minutes. I gets used again for a minute or so at time 20 minute, 40 minute, and 60 minute in the video. The main video that is under the chromokey track is fine, but at the 60 minute event the chromokey track is well out of track on its video and sound.

Again, it is fine when I preview in vegas, fine if i prerender and view in Vegas, and fine is I separetely render just the 3 one minute sections where the chromokey track is out of sync and view the AVI in media player 10.

Any thoughts on this. My system is an Intel P4 3.2g with 1g memory, ATI 9800 pro video, audigy platnum sound, Win XP home, 2 SATA 120g hard drives.
