Is it possible to edit a dvd, and also keep the original menu, with possibly a few changes to it. I downloaded TDAPro and I wasn't able to use the dvds original menu, or maybe I just couldn't find how i could keep the dvds original menu after editing out commercials....

    1. I ripped all files from the dvd
    2. Edited commercials using TDA Pro trial
    3. Wanted to use original menu, perhaps making a few small changes to it (not keeping extras, so don't need the extras button)

Can't figure out how to do step 3 if it is even possible

Look into VOBBlanker or TitleSetBlanker - they may be of use.
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

  3. If you want to change the menu you will need to re-author the whole thing. Take a screenshot of the menu then make your changes in Photoshop. Then use that as the menu background when you re-author. You also need to make the subpicture bitmap for the buttons.

If you want to avoid re-authoring, you can use PGCedit to delete the buttons (although the background image won't change).

DVDRemake or possibly even DVD-lab Pro could be useful here.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I always use VOBBlanker to get rid of things that I dont need, such as extras or whatever. It works really well and most of the time allows me to avoid compression. Then to disable the menu buttons that I dont want (buttons leading to blanked cells/titles). I use this guide(all the software is freeware): http://dvdguides.netgeekhosting.com/guides/edit_menu/ This guide also works with motion menus as well. The problem comes with the text. You cant remove the "special features" text on the menu of a motion menu as you would with a still. But it still disables the button which is all I really care about. Hoped this helped.
