I have a project where I will be burning 150 DVDs of a Montage I created. I just ordered 2 Pioneer 110's, and am planning on putting both of them in my 2 bay external firewire enclosure.
Can I expect good burns while writing to both drives simultaneously through firewire?
It's more of a hassle, but if I have to mount them in my tower, I will... I'd just like to put them in the firewire case if possible.
P.S. If it matters, the firewire case has it's own power supply.

I have tested this with my two burners, a NEC2500 and HP200i. Both of them are in external Oxford 911 firewire cases (same firmware version). Due the speed limitation of the HP200i I only tested burning DVD+R media at 2.5x using Nero.
I think 4 or even 8x should work. -
Transfer/Communications bitrates should be within easy capability of Firewire. Main thing is to have a recording app that supports simultaneous writing to multiple drives (like the full Nero Burning Rom, DiscJuggler, etc).
