I've just been experimenting with vcd's and svcd's. I used EZCD vcd maker to make a vcd, and then used Nero to make an svcd. Both times I used tmpegenc to convert my mov files. Now I've obtained Videopack 5, and attempted to make an svcd. When I chose the files (the same ones I used with Nero and used tmpegenc to convert) I got a message saying that the mux rate of 1685200 bits/sec was not standard. It looked like it was going to let me go ahead with it, but I canceled out. I wanted to find out why it didn't like the mux rate, and if there's something I can do (or should have done) in tmpegenc to get a mux rate that videopack will like?

VP5 will fix it to what it likes automatically.
Just click on burn disc and it will be fine.
