  1. I have a lot of music videos in Mpeg2, but in 480x576 resolution (uncompatible with DVD). I usually create DVD using Ulead Movie Factory (quick and simple). I'd like to have these on DVD without reencoding, even if it would not be in accordance with standard. There's a few possibilities - 1) DVDLab, long process, sound reencoding needed, complicated menu creating fro multiple titles, 2) SVCD2DVD - unavailable for me. 3) Repairing a file header with DVDPatcher so it would behave like with DVD resolution.
The third option is the most likable for me, even MovieFactory then accepts it. But one problem remains - pictures captured from video in menu buttons are still retaining SVCD ratio and are pushed to the left (the right remainder is green). I'd like to use further Ulead MF or something similar, simple menu are needed. Any idea how to solve this? Thanks.

you could try doing a screen cap during the music video and using that as the picture instead of what of what is normally provided

  3. It is not possible, MF cannt add external pictures as buttons. But I found a solution - instead DVDPatcher , I use SVCD2DVDMPG. It is free and really works - it creates automatically new mpeg2 file with changed header and reencoded sound. Media Factory then accepts this file without any problems (no reencoding).

    Try [/b]SVCDgoesDVD

you can convert up to 5 SVCD`s seamless to ES-Streams A/V or DVD Files.
Use 1CD Profile to make ES-Streams for author with TMPGEnc DVD Author .
