  1. I hope someone can help me out. I know you guys do a lot of video editing and adding sound effects and I really hope someone has what I'm looking for.

I'm almost done my project and the only thing I'm missing is a single sound effect I can't find anywhere. It's a flash sound effect during a dissolve transition in the video where everything dissolves to white and dissolves back to the next scene, like a flashback or something. It has to be quick, max 1second. I'm suprised I can't find it, such an effect is constantly used in films. I'll give you an example. The below audio file is from a video that has a similar flash sound effect. Although this one stops because the time in the video freezes and then continues on. Can't really edit out this and use it since there is music playing in the background.

Anyway that gives you an idea what I'm looking for. I really hope someone has such a sound effect and doesn't mind sending it to me. My email is vulcan4d@hotmail.com

    Mucho Gracias

Sounds like static building in volume and then dropping off faster, like when I turn on a radio or TV that is not tuned and I turn it off or down real quick to keep from waking everyone up. There might be a little bit of a speaker thump at the end, but I ain't no expert.

I do have a freind that told me physically making sounds versus electronics is still the preferred way in Hollywood, But he ain't no expert either.

Make some noise and have some fun
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?

You can create it with Audacity. Just generate 'White Noise' for about a second long, select it, then under 'Effects' fade in, fade out. You can alter the pitch and how fast it builds, then change the frequency or about any modification you want to do.

Or even easier, I loaded that MP3 sound file into Audacity and cut out the musical part. If you are missing a little, copy and paste for some added length. Sounds fine, no music in the background. The program can do quite a bit, outputs in WAV or MP3 and it's freeware.
