I have tried a hell of a lot of things to stop my video going out of sync but have had little luck. This includes running the video through womble etc.

As a last resort, can I request an "audio offset" feature in the next release. I think if I can enter a small positive or negative ms value then I will be able to finally get my audio to match the video.

    Thanks

Can you explain your sync issues? What are your sources: mpeg, avi, pal conversions?

Most of the time I use SVCD2DVD to create PAL DVDs from PAL MPEG2 files I extract from my TiVo. The files play *very slightly* out of sync when I watch them in media player but not enough so you'd notice if you weren't looking for it.

After being remuxed by SVCD2DVD the resultant video is a lot more out of sync and makes it v. difficult to watch. I tried playing the original files in VirtualDub (as suggested) and they appeared to play fine with no significant sync issues.

I recently used SVCD2DVD on a couple of DivX files and the resultant video is hugely out of sync on my DVD player. I am prepared to accept that the sources for the DivX may have been less than perfect though.

If you want, I will try and prepare a smallish example of these problems to upload for your analysis.

Ok. Can you send me a mpeg sample that exibits this - i will look into it (use the MakeSample tool in the "SVCD2DVD v2\Tools" folder). FTP it to ftp://BetaTester:badger@ftp.svcd2dvdmpg.com:7676/

As for the divx issue: If it is out of sync from the outset and remains so, have a look at the solution here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1338598#1338598
