Hi
I was reading in a tape from my JVC DX95EK last night and it kept stopping with a blue screen error. It kept giving me code E03 and asking me to remove that tape and re-insert it.
Anyway I did manage to get it call captured but with about 200 dropped frames. This was with WinDV. Obviously when I re-insert the tape the position is slightly out and I end up skippiing sections.
Is there a better capture application out there which will deal more intelligently with reading this in. There is nothing wrong with the camcorder. The tape will be destroyed just as soon as I can extract as much as possible from it.
Thanks
Darren
