I have a DVD of nirvana at reading 92, and used DVD-lab pro to join and demultiplex it. So I have a big MPV file with no audio I also made a joined .vob file in case that was what i would need. So I went to the guides on how to remove logos and subtitles and almost all were using VirtualDub with a plugin (Virtualdub Logoaway filter, MSU Subtitle&Logo Remover). I also tryed Subrip. Subrip did not work at all. and if I try to load the MPV or Vob file into VirtualDub it says "no video frames found in mpeg file". Is there anyway i can get an mpeg2 file to load into VirtualDub.
Here is what it looks like
What I would like to do is put a black box over the time code.
Thanks for any help
Chris

I really dont want to convert the file formate in anyway. I just want to place something over the timecode. -
no. You cannot change the content of the video without reencoding. What you can do is frameserve from virtualdub to your encoder so you don't need to do an intermediate encode to avi.
