  1. I have one avi files, that is not readable by media player, powerdvd..etc but can be read by VLC player alone.

    I tried converting to VCD through TMPGenc or with MPEG encoder but could not do.

    What is wrong with that file, and how to resolve it.

  2. What codec is used for compression? Load it in gspot and post back with results.

  3. It says 'XviD'. But I tried installing this 'XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exe' and tested not working. I do not know how to use this XVID in tmpgenc or mpeg encoder? Thanks for your response. M.Stks.

    TMPGEnc by default will use XviD's VfW decoder or if you have increased the dshow priority then maybe XviD's dshow decoder or maybe another one.

    Can you open the file in VirtualDub?
