Hi
This is a question about PAL.
I live in the UK which is PAL/I.
All other countries that use PAL do not use 'I'
So, if someone was to send me a VHS or miniDV from other country say; Australia - would that tape play on my VHS or miniDV machines, without any problems?
Thanks on advance - Stephen

Quick answer from non-PAL area, PAL-I refers to the way TV is transmitted over the air. There is no significant difference at the VCR/MiniDV level for 625/50 PAL formats. TV sets and TV tuner sections of VCRs may have differences.
