    can i convert PAL .mpg to NTSC using CCE?
    if no what can i use with same great quality output...

  2. If you want to use CCE, use the all in one converter DIKO. It will convert PAL to NTSC or vice versa. You will get the CCE quality, but it doesn't have too many settings that you can adjust. It takes a while for the process to complete, so set it over night. I've used it for over a year with no complaints.

    my friend tried to use tmpgenc but it said 17 hours ...he wont do it

    Here is a post on PAL to NTSC that you should read.

    CCE is excellent for this but you have to use AviSynth which some find "scary" but it really is not that hard.
