I'm using power dvd and when I play my dvd I get skipping and static when I paly my dvd please help. This is on all dvd's played.Thanks

If in doubt, Google it.

If it's happening with storeboughts as well then it points towards your DVD-ROM possibly being on the way out, a corrupted audio codec, or maybe even something dodgy with soundcard and/or speakers. I would have thought that each software would use it's own AC3 Decoder (PowerDVD definitely should), but you could try installing AC3Filter and see if that makes a difference.
